Busy days, with bills to pay, a home to run, animals to tend too and adult children coming in and out. Shopping, lists, and Holiday planning. Keeps a body busy and occupied. But it’s all good.

The Holidays we satisfactory. I think everyone had a good enough time and enjoyed the things they got. It could have gone better, but also worse. All in all, I do believe the Holidays were okay. Not much in the decoration department as it takes a lot to plan those with the new house and everything we have to continue to do with that.

I have not had any time to write in my journal, either online or in the physical book. I have been actually doing better with the online journal than with the physical copy of my journaling. I’m such a bad journal writer. Once the house is done and I’m finally moved in, I really do hope to be better at it. I’m wanting to keep up with it so much more than I have been doing, as I want to leave a part of me to my family that they can read and remember me and us by. memories made that maybe they will cherish.

Isn’t it sad when you order something and it is so damaged that you can’t keep it? I had to complain and get another order set out. Now we’re expecting snow and I’m sure that my replacement product will be extremely late. On a better not though, I did get my newest book, Of Mice And Men, and it was not damaged so I got to keep that and it is my next item to read. I am really looking forward to reading it. I do hear it is really sad towards the end and I am not looking forward to that. But this book has been on my list for quite some time.

Okay, Ysabell, I’m done for the day. I’ll write again soon. From the words of Henry David Thoreau,

Pursue some path, however narrow and crooked, in which you can walk with love and reverence.
