A Life Of The Lost- Living Life Without Being You – To Live Without Being- A Journal Entry
It must be really hard to live without being
When your mind goes astray. When your thoughts are not your own.
How do you live, when you’re not your own?
When who you are is not who you are.
Living with suspicion, hallucinations, and the mind of someone else.
When things around you are not real, and reality doesn’t exist.
What is your next move?
Madness, What is madness? Who is mad? I saw this and no-one did a thing to prevent it. How do we change it? What is the illness? To die without even knowing it. Without knowing who you are. What you’re doing. Where does the mind go? How does it get there and more importantly, how does it get back? Back to reality. Back to normalcy. But who decides what is normal, what is real? How can you live your life, without being you? Dream-state. Only God knows where you are. Only God knows who you are.
I guess it’s hard to understand the mind of the insane. Or the sane for that matter. Do we really even know anyone. Who they are, what they’re capable of? How do we live when we are not ourselves? How do we live when we are?
I can’t believe someone could die who didn’t have to. Could die not knowing who they were. Is life really this difficult?

~Thought Provoking Writings of Edgar Allan Poe~
“It is impossible to say how first the idea entered my brain; but once conceived, it haunted me day and night.” Edgar Allan Poe
Science has not yet taught us if madness is or is not the sublimity of the intelligence. (My Cousin) Edgar Allan Poe
All that we see and seem is but a dream within a dream. Edgar Allan Poe
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before. Edgar Allan Poe
