Reflections Of Who I Am

I have been doing a lot of family research lately. Finding out who my family was. Where I come from. What my family did and who they were. It reflects on me as to who I am.

I have lots of Kings, Queens, Princes, and Princesses in several of my lines. They are from Germany, England, and France.

I am even related to Martha Fox (Her English name) Given name is Metoanna Powhatten (Native American) Whose father was a Chief and her sister was Pocahontas. So I have a bit of Powhatten Indian in me.

I have African Great Grandparents and also Spanish. There is German of course, to which my dad was proud of. Not to mention a long line of Quakers and Mormons.

My family was in America in the 1500’s before colonial times and helped to shape this country. I have a lot of Captains (Captain John Baker) and more.in my family tree.

And all of these make me who I am today. Family is important and they can influence you a great deal. All of these (my ancestors) influenced others in my family and it trickled down to me. I do things that my ancestors did. I learned a lot about God and Christ. My family for many generations were firm believers. Churchgoers and devout Christians.

God gave me a very diverse family of which I’m proud. I am me and there is no-one else like me, but I reflect all of my ancestors before me. The Bible mentions many times of ancestry. Family is important. Be thankful for family. They are who God gave to you.

  • Genesis 5:1 These are the family records of the descendants of Adam. On the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God
  • Genesis 10:1 These are the family records of Noah’s sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth. They also had sons after the deluge.
