When a day is boring and there’s nothing to do
Today just seems to drag on. Going so slow. Going nowhere. No excitement today. Nothing to do to keep my interest peaked. So bored I just want to sleep. Looked out the window and daydreamed. Of nothing in particular. Wishing for more excitement.
I don’t really feel like doing anything. Boredom has set in. I am wasting this day and doing nothing. Sitting around staring into space. Thinking about tomorrow and what it will bring.
Then I remembered this:
Proverbs 13:4 The soul of the sluggard craves and gets nothing, while the soul of the diligent is richly supplied.
So on that note, I got up and got busy. Did a little housework, read a chapter of my book. Took a walk and did some praying. Today is a day the Lord has made, and I rejoiced and was glad of it. (Psalm 118:24)
